It's a long day of travelling for me. After travelling to Frankfurt via taxi, I'll be catching a flight back to Malta. I'm using this travel time to catch up with the latest from New York Fashion Week. It's a great way to kill time!
As you can tell, my favourites were definitely Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta and Marc by Marc Jacobs. I did fancy those Rodarte shoes and that MM6 Martin Marghiela number as well though. Jacobs' use of the tied scarf and loose tailoring is something I'm willing to give a try. As usual, de la Renta conjured up some great Romantic dresses and some floor-sweeping gowns which can hardly go unnoticed. My top one? It's Michael Kors, hands down. With his safari-inspired combinations, waisted garments, predominantly neutral hues and that gorgeous python print and grey jumper combination, I found myself drooling as I switched from one photo to another.
I don't usually find many designers I like at NFW, but so far so good. Looking forward to check out the rest and well, bring on London!
