I find these wishlist posts very useful. First and foremost, they give you a glimpse of what I hope to add to my wardrobe. Secondly - and selfishly - it also helps me personally, in the sense that I can visualise a lot better what I want when I walk into a store. Today's wishlist has six items.
1. Varsity Sweater: I'm probably the last blogger to jump on the varsity jumper bandwagon, but I also believe it's never too late. I do spend a lot of my time on planes or trains, so I'm always on the lookout for incredibly comfy pieces that I can just chuck on whenever I need to travel. This particular one looks so cuddly and warm, I can totally see myself sporting it on my next flight to Brussels...
2. Plaid Scarf: I have been telling myself I just need to get one of these off eBay for weeks. What exactly am I waiting for? I'm pretty sure you can also find more than just a handful of these in local markets in Malta. Needless to say, all those that matter on the high street are also stocking them. Lara, get one.
3. Plain Band Rings: Preferably, in different widths. I saw a set at H&M last week but didn't get them as some wonderfully educated individual decided to rip off half of them from the packaging. Hoping to have better luck next time.
4. Plaid Pants: I'm torn between making one and buying one. Most of the ones I've seen on the market at the moment are similar to jeans, whereas I would prefer something that comes closer to a pair of chinos. Dilemma, dilemma. However, if I do opt for the former, I have no problem finding one on the high street.
5. Black Blazer: Such a basic, can't believe I'm still lacking it in my wardrobe. After literally ruining my last black blazer - I wore it too often I guess - I haven't as yet made enough effort in replacing it. Should add this item to my ever increasing list of things to do urgently. How am I surviving dressing up for work without relying on a black blazer?
6. Big Bag: I really hate repeating myself, but as I said a million times before, I do travel a lot on a regular basis. This pretty much determines most - say 70% - of my clothing and other possessions. I love small bags too, but I do need to have a huge Mary Poppins style bag to fit everything when I'm on the go. And when I say 'everything', I'm not joking. Problems of an EU interpreter, episode one.
What's on your wishlist? Let me know if you have any suggestions where I can get any of the above soon, pretty please.
