It was much warmer than usual here in London over the last weekend, so I obviously snatched the opportunity to wear something a little brighter and lighter than my usual mellow jumpers and blazers.
The two main elements of my outfit are, quite evidently, my cut out skirt in a bold petrol blue hue as well as my oversized floral crown a la Lana del Rey. The latter has been hiding in my closet waiting for some spells of sunshine to make its grand exit. Even though the photos may not show it, it was a gorgeous day on Saturday and before heading to Charing Cross, where we shot these photos, we spent a lovely afternoon at St James Park (after running into the Gay Pride Day celebrations which were pretty crazy!)
My blue skirt is yet another thrifted piece from the charity store I mentioned in yesterday's post about recently unearthed striped blazer. That charity shop is a godsend. I can't believe how many great items it houses. The skirt is airy and ideal for warmer weather, so I'll definitely be packing it in my luggage back to Malta.
