Apart from obsessing over a few newly discovered unreleased tracks from the one and only Lana Del Rey (bless her...), I spent most of the past two days thinking about purchasing a hair accessory that reminds me of my days in primary and secondary education. Part of our typical Catholic school-girl attire included a cheesy, matching hair scrunchie that you'd need to repurchase by mid-year. It wasn't made out of the best fabric I guess.
After mulling over it for a couple of hours - these are matters that call for deep reflection obviously! - I decided to add a gingham hair scrunchie to my ASOS 'save for later' basket, even though I predict to promote it to my shopping cart in the coming hours (or minutes). As you can see in the two photos I posted above, colourful hair scrunchies are excellent to add some colour or pattern to a crisp, white blouse. As you know, I do wear a white blouse nearly every day so I have to add something every once in a while to keep me from getting bored.
I also plan on making some hair scrunchies myself when I come to Malta in the coming weeks. Maybe you'd be interested in a DIY post?
The only question that remains unanswered right now is the following, 'Is my hair long enough to be tied using a scrunchie?' Here comes a long, awkward silence...
