►Listening to: Lonely Hearts Club - Marina and the Diamonds
Before heading to the Marks and Spencer event last weekend- check out my outfit here - I made it a point to spend a few minutes at Zara. Why? They reduced their sale stock even further, yikes! I walked in and found a few pieces, but one of my favourites was definitely this shift dress with a dark diamond print.
I'm no shift dress lover. In fact, I hardly own any dresses - or any other garment - that doesn't draw attention to the waist. You know how it goes, a good waist is a pity to waste. But then again, I was instantly drawn to the relative simplicity of this dress so I knew I just had to have it.
Being in Brussels almost every week means that I can easily be found strolling around the Rue Neuve area, hunting for some cool pieces from stores like H&M. I got this bejewelled necklace a few weeks ago but never featured it yet. I think it looks much more expensive than it actually is. Even though it cost me less than a tenner, I still think it managed to elevate the look slightly even more. And the rest of the elevation can be attributed to my Mary Jane heels from New Look. Yes, I now wear heels every now and then. You can applaud.
