Visiting NYX Cosmetics Malta

Having missed the NYX Cosmetics Malta bloggers event a few days ago – due to personal reasons, the drama! – I still had to set foot inside the new Sliema store and test whether the shop as well as the brand are worth the hype. During my very short stay in Malta over the weekend, I made it a point to visit as well as to take home a few items to test out for myself. And, well, I did.

Christa – from Café a Pois– and I were cordially greeted by the store manager, and then we were taken around the 2 floor shop as we received detailed information on the incredibly vast make up collection. It was great to spot a couple of products I had heard about already even though I admit I was drawn to quite a few products that are generally much less raved about.

As I mentioned already, variety does not lack in the extensive NYX make-up collection. Be it finish, colour, or texture, NYX can really boast an excellent level of diversity. The brand also matches its high level of variety with an impeccable packaging design. Sleek, sturdy and comfortable, NYX products have really met my high expectations in terms of beautiful presentation.

Price-wise, the brand is very affordable. Individual items start from under 5 euro, and the higher-end products barely exceed the 30 euro mark. NYX also do a great selection of make-up palettes which range for ridiculously decent prices. Also, they're ideal for gifts.

Before I left, I was kindly given a goodie bag with 5 products to test out. I obviously made sure to expand my NYX make-up collection by purchasing a few more products myself. Overall, I'm already highly impressed.

Stay tuned for reviews and first impressions about my experience with this brand. Don't forget to follow NYX Cosmetics Malta on Facebook over here.
