Brand Preview: ItStyle Make-Up

I'm sure you have seen my two ItStyle Make-Up related posts already - if not, here's post one, here's post two), so the brand won't sound alien to you by now. I wanted to take some time to introduce you, in a little bit more details, to this new brand that has recently joined the ever-growing make-up store family on the Maltese islands.

Marketed as a 100% Italian brand, ItStyle make-up is a brand that values variety, simplicity as well as intuitiveness. As a brand that is continuously in evolution - periodically adding items to its core collection - it makes it incredibly easy for every woman to find a product or tool that suits her particular skin tone, skin type, preferences as well as special situation. Wedding? You got it covered. Everyday items? You got those covered too. Blemishes? You can bet you'll cover those too (with their outstanding concealers).

After acquiring some of their products, I decided it was high time I gave you my impressions on them. So here goes.

I am super picky with nail varnishes. I'm quite a nightmare. Really. You know how women tend to hang out in front of the nail polish stand for ages, exclaiming 'oh my God, that's so pretty!' at every other colour in sight? I'm usually the opposite. I spend my fair share (a lot of) time there, but thinking to myself, 'I really don't like most of these!'. For instance, I wouldn't really wear any of the colours above because my nail polishes of choice tend to be of either a red or neutral nature, but it can't be denied that the itStyle varnishes excel for their longevity. I did test them out and they were unchipped after 5 days. Also please note my nails are notoriously known for not keeping nail varnish on them for long, so 5 days is more than great for me!

My favourite products out of the entire range, and I bet you're not even surprised. Excluding the packaging, I just love everything about these lipsticks. First off, there is an unbelievable colour range available. Secondly, they have different types varying in finish, longevity and the like. Thirdly, they are very affordable! Definitely a place to get your lip shades ladies.

I never go near the lipgloss section in a make-up store. I'm one for matte, non-sticky lip stuff, so lipgloss normally never fits my criteria. I used 'normally' on purpose, as the Crazy Gloss lipglosses from ItStyle are not as sticky as the regular ones. Quite easy on the lips too. I wouldn't buy them for the mere reason I don't wear lipglosses, but if you're open to them and want something less sticky, give them a try.

These pearls surprised me with their outcome when applied on the skin. I never tried any 'pearl' products - I hate it when people call them 'balls' lol - so I was really happy to give them a go. I just lightly brushed my powder brush on them and then applied it on my cheeks. The result was a lovely, shimmering effect that gave me colour and a healthy glow. I added this product to my everyday make-up routine.

Those who love eyeshadows will go crazy at the ItStyle store! Whereas the variety of colours was something that quickly came to my awareness - simply by looking at the shop! - I was eager to test these colours for their pigmentation and longevity. I wore these hues to assess the aforementioned aspects and I was pretty impressed. Pigmentation-wise, they aren't the best I've tried, but they can easily be built up so I guess that's fine. However, they totally make up for that with their longevity.
